Alison Moyet is an outstanding singer whose career has stretched from the electropop of 1982 in the band Yazoo, through the multi-million selling solo hits from Alf, to the critically-acclaimed albums of Hometime, Voice and The Turn.

Branching out into West End success, Alison was a hugely successful Mama Morton in the musical Chicago, before wowing audiences with her acting talent in the Carmel Morgan play, Smaller, alongside her friend, Dawn French.

In 2008, Alison surprised and delighted fans by announcing that she was to reform Yazoo with synth wizard, Vince Clarke. 25 years after the band split, the duo announced Yazoo: Reconnected, a world tour starting in Copenhagen in late May. At the same time, a boxset, In Your Room, will be released containing remastered albums and a new DVD documentary.

Our delightfully-eclectic Turn has been invited by legendary songwriter Michel LeGrand to be the voice of some rare UK live performances.

Alison of course has performed LeGrand songs such as the exquisite Windmills of Your Mind and What Are You Doing The Rest of Your Life on the album Voice and sang I Will Wait For You as part of the Liverpool Pops in 2003.

Alison will join the composer of film scores such as Yentl, The Thomas Crown Affair and The Umbrellas of Cherbourg with his big band.
